Founding Platform Engineer

Own the platform that 30 verticals run on — Cloud Run, Cloud SQL, Cloud Tasks, Redis, GCS, observability, CI/CD, security. Keep everything fast, safe, and zero-downtime.

What you'll do

Operate the production stack on GCP across all verticals
Run zero-downtime deploys via Cloud Build + Artifact Registry
Build the observability spine: metrics, traces, logs, alerts, SLOs
Own security posture: IAM, VPC, secret rotation, pen-test remediation
Make the platform a product — paved roads, golden paths, fast onboarding

What you bring

4+ years platform / SRE / infra engineering in production
Deep GCP fluency (or AWS at the equivalent level — willing to switch)
Strong with IaC, Docker, CI/CD, and on-call instincts
Comfort writing TypeScript and Python when the platform meets the app

Nice to have

Has run a multi-tenant platform with strict isolation
Built developer-experience tooling that other engineers love
Comfort with cost engineering across cloud + AI inference

Compensation

Founding-level equity plus competitive cash. Calibrated on first call.
