Co-architect, build, and scale neww.ai — the AI Domain Operating System. A 0 → 1 founder-level role with full ownership across AI architecture, agent orchestration, data, infrastructure, and product execution.
About the role
Today's AI tools generate answers. They don't execute real work, run systems, or produce assets at scale. neww.ai is building the AI Domain Operating System — a unified execution layer that connects models, agents, data, workflows, and domain intelligence to move from conversation → execution → outcomes → real assets across sales, development, search, operations, research, and enterprise. This is a system-level shift in how software, AI, and work are structured, and a chance to accelerate the development of AI itself. We're looking for a Co-Founder / Founding Engineer / CTO to architect, build, and scale the core platform alongside the founder.
What you'll do
- AI Model + Routing Layer — multi-model orchestration (LLMs, multimodal, domain models) with dynamic routing on cost, speed, accuracy, and context
- Agent Orchestration — agentic agents executing multi-step workflows with planning, reasoning, tool use, and memory integration
- Data + Execution Layer — APIs, internal data connectors, real-time pipelines, retrieval systems, and the workflow execution engine
- Intelligence + Learning Layer — evaluation loops, self-improving systems, and performance tracking (accuracy, latency, cost, success rate)
- Domain Operating System — vertical execution environments for sales, dev, search, research, and enterprise workflows
- Infrastructure — scalable backend on GCP / AWS with observability, logging, telemetry, security, auth, and multi-tenant isolation
What you bring
- Strong full-stack and backend systems experience — you are not just an engineer, you are a builder
- Deep understanding of AI/ML systems, LLMs, or agent frameworks
- Experience with distributed systems, APIs, and real-time data pipelines
- Comfortable building from scratch under uncertainty with high execution speed
- Product-minded, able to make architectural decisions independently
- Obsessed with shipping systems that actually work in production
Nice to have
- Prior experience at AI-native companies or dev-tools
